Man hijacked at Rynfield Terrace

Benoni SAPS spokesperson, Lieut Nomsa Sekele said the man was making a delivery at the shopping centre.

“When suddenly, he was approached by three men, one with a firearm,” said Sekele.

“One of the suspects went into the passenger seat and pointed a firearm at the man.”

Sekele said the man was then dragged out of the vehicle.

The suspects drove off with a Opel Corsa.

No arrests have been made and police are investigating.

A case of hijacking has been opened at the Benoni Police Station.
