Mother distraught over missing daughter

Anita van der Merwe has been missing since November.

Anna van der Merwe, who goes by the nickname Anita, was last heard from by her mother on November 29, 2015.

Her mother, Marianne Terblanche, believes Anita could be in Brakpan, as most of her friends are there.

“She cares a lot for others and is very loving towards her children,” Terblanche said.

“All of us miss her terribly much.”

Terblanche opened a missing person case at the Benoni Police Station last year.

Anyone with information can contact Terblanche on 079 648 7077 or WO Phokela Malesa on 082 563 3709.
