SAPS empowers others

Seen here are some members of the Benoni SAPS, Const Zoliswa Kabini (left), Sheredene Nel, W O Sanet van Leeuen, Const Nonhlanhla Vilakazi and Const Zama Madonda.

The aim of the event was to empower and motivate victims of crime.

Ekurhuleni Central Cluster spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said there will be more events like this, as they want to bring back trust between the community and police.

The SAPS band entertained guests, while they enjoyed a warm meal. Sekele thanked the coffee shop for sponsoring the event and others who contributed.
