Two collisions hurt eight

One of the cars involved in the T-bone collision on the corner of Kosmos and Gesiggie streets, in Northmead.

A woman was seriously injured while three others sustained minor injuries in a head-on collision between a light motor vehicle and a small truck, in Benoni South.

The incident happened at around 3pm, in Lancaster Road.

ER24 spokesperson Liam Hardy said the woman was pulled from the small truck.

The other accident took place in Northmead around 4.30pm.

Two light motor vehicles were involved in a T-bone collision on the corner of Kosmos and Gesiggie streets.

Hardy said the four patients transported from the scene had minor to moderate injuries.

He said those hurt were two children, a boy and a girl, along with one man and a woman.
