Community rids Korsman Conservancy of weeds and litter

Community members gathered at the Korsman Conservancy, on February 1, to rid the area of litter and weeds. The volunteers cleared the Kilfenora grassland of tall weeds, including khakibos, which will give the wild flowers more space to grow. The clean-up will improve hunting for raptors, and provide a better view for walkers. The volunteers are Korsman Conservancy chairperson Jane Trembath (left), Alison Bainbridge, Max Herold, Cathi Marques, Brenda Sparke, Linda Stracker, Kayleigh and Linda Young, and Werner van Goethem. Absent: Ken Malherbe.
