Choral concert has Benonians singing for joy

Malcolm Chalmers is seen conducting the choir at the St Dunstan's Cathedral.

Under the theme Rhythm of Life, the Sing for Joy Choral Concert drew about 300 people to St Dunstan’s Cathedral on June 9.

Produced and conducted by Malcolm and Janet Chalmers, the concert has been an annual attraction for 16 years.

Comprised of 60 members, the choir performed a wide repertoire of songs along with a brass band.

The St Dunstan’s College choir and the Benoni High pipe band were guest performers at the event.
