This calzone only has seven ingredients and takes less than 30 minutes to prepare.
You will need:
• Non-stick cooking spray.
• 500 grams bread dough.
• A quarter cup basil pesto.
• Four cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed.
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper.
• One cup grated mozzarella cheese.
• One tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese.
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
Form the bread dough into a ball and then roll out into a 38 centimetre circle. Spread the pesto over dough, leaving a two centimetre edge.
Place the vegetables on one half of the dough and season to taste with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle with the mozzarella.
Fold dough over vegetables and pinch around the edge to seal. Place the calzone to prepared baking sheet, mist with cooking spray and sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand five minutes before slicing into wedges.
